BCA CELEBRATES 15 YEARS IN THE COMMUNITY

Have you ever wondered about Breast Cancer Action’s roots as an organization, or how long we have been serving the Ottawa community? With the arrival of 2008, Breast Cancer Action will officially usher in our 15th Anniversary from the year we received our charitable registration status in 1993. Since that time, we have traveled many roads together.

On February 12th, 2008, BCA turned 15 years old. To celebrate this special day, we hosted an "old-fashioned" birthday party at the BCA postdiagnosis support and resource centera. We invited our valued BCA members, breast health partners, volunteers and members of the Ottawa community to help us celebrate this special milestone in our history...and enjoy a slice or two of birthday cake!
