PINK AT THE RINK

On Saturday January 12 2008, two Novice A teams of 7 & 8 year old boys played a game of hockey in support of Breast Cancer. These two Stittsville teams competed wearing special pink ribbon jerseys,pink gloves as well as using pink sticks.

The boys sold raffle tickets and collected prizes for a silent auction table.

At the end of the game each player presented their stick to a loved one who has been touched by cancer, during an on-ice closing ceremony.

The event took place Saturday  January 12,2008 at the Stittsville Arena.
