Region is pleased to introduce the resource What About My Kids?:
A Guide for Parents Living with Breast Cancer, now available
online at www.cbcf.org/ontario/whataboutmykids
In 2002, the Foundation provided funding to the Ottawa Hospital
Regional Cancer Centre to create What About My Kids?, a comprehensive
resource addressing the broad range of issues and challenges
parents with young children might encounter throughout the
breast cancer journey. By providing relevant, accessible and
practical information to address the complex needs of parents
and children, What About My Kids? aims to help families cope
with breast cancer together.
The resource is available in PDF format and people can either
download the whole book, or choose only those chapters that
respond to their specific information needs. The contents of
the book include:

What About My Kids? was originally published in 2006 in book
format. We are pleased to make this electronic version available
to download to further meet the information needs of families
affected by breast cancer. We hope that you will share information
about this online resource with the people you serve.
Please note that we have a limited number of hard copies of
the book available for parents living with breast cancer in
Ontario who are unable to access the electronic version, and
for libraries and patient resource centres in Ontario.
