Training for Walkers and Runners with the Goal in mind to complete the 2010CIBC Run for the Cure
New Balance Canada, Running Room and Walking Room are offering this exclusive opportunity to women who have endured and overcome breast cancer to train for the 5k or 1k CIBC Run for the Cure.
These FREE clinics are 10 weeks in duration and are open to walkers and runners who are Breast Cancer Survivors.

THUNDERSTRUCK Photo Exhibition October/November 2010
Local photographer Gavin Murphy only shoots with 35mm film and doesn’t retouch his pictures. And now he’s using his talent to raise money for BREAST CANCER ACTION OTTAWA.
His photographs will be on exhibit at Gallery Farina on Elgin Street in downtown Ottawa. A satellite show is also planned for Desjardins Credit Union on Bank Street at the same time. Thanks to the generosity of corporate sponsors Desjardins Credit Union and ScotiaMcleod’s Renaldo Saikali for making this possible.
All the proceeds of his Oct/Nov 2010 THUNDERSTRUCK exhibition of photographs of women will be donated to BREAST CANCER ACTION. |
